The Sea Hag Art Gallery launches it's inaugural exhibition

This month, we celebrated our first artist residency at an opening reception for Sarah Wright and Susan Clark.

I met the two artists at their shared studio at Vernon Street Studios in Somerville during 2024 Open Studios last spring. Both Sarah and Susan were excited about the idea of displaying their work at The Sea Hag and we grooved on the way both women's artwork, though stylistically in different lanes, fit thematically with our decorating approach.

Sarah Wright's "Barbie Goes Overboard" Parts 1 -4, and Susan Clark's "She Awakens" will be on display through the rest of 2024. Meanwhile, we are now taking submissions from artists who would like to participate in a residency in 2025. We have three, 4 month long residencies.
